About Boston Road Animal Clinic

Boston Road Animal Clinic had been owned and operated by Dr. Robert Burns, DVM since 1992. In the last 31 years, BRAC has served thousands of patients, providing high quality care to dogs and cats alike. Dr. Burns cultivated a community around BRAC and has been known as one of Lexington's most loved veterinarians.

In January 2023, Dr. Karen Young purchased Boston Road Animal Clinic due to Dr. Burns’ decision to take steps toward retirement. Since then, the BRAC facility has undergone a transformation with the addition of multiple exam rooms, surgery suites, and a diagnostic laboratory to expand the service capabilities of the practice and continue patients with the same high-level quality expected by the community.
